I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – right now is probably the busiest I have ever been! Last week was a lot. I finished two of my classes (YAY) but that meant I had finals and it was also midterms for my other classes. My younger siblings came to visit and I was also very sick the whole week. Along with that I was trying to get to work every day!

Starting out with with the June fitness challenge was fairly simple and my hubby was doing it with me. As the week went on, my brain got quite scatter-brained and I FORGOT two of those days. So I took my rest day to come back from it and do both the exercises. In my downloadable PDF (which you can find in the June reveal blog post) it says that I’m going to be doing three days of cardio each week on top of these exercises. I didn’t want to take the time to do that this past week because I was under the weather and I was very, very busy. But I’m getting at it this week!

I felt pretty guilty missing those two days, but I have to say sometimes you just have to be proud of yourself for doing what you can on weeks like those. This week, though, I’m going to be really giving it my all! As I’m writing this, on a Saturday, I’m feeling okay and thinking I’ll be recovered by Monday. I am adding a few more things to my plate this week but getting so much hard work done this past week I feel that as long as I plan out my time I’ll be doing all that I can!

Tangent: Sometimes I feel like school makes me a crazy person. I have LOVED college and really enjoyed learning from such a great school, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to get an education now. But I feel like it has taken over my life and my identity, so I’m really just ready for it to be over and I can get back to the things that make me, me! School is a big part of who I am RIGHT NOW and that’s okay – but I guess I just have senioritis!

Happy to say I did my first Facebook live the other day! It was for a class but it wasn’t as nerve-wracking as I thought it would be, and I’m wanting to do a few more like it on my Instagram about the blog. I haven’t had any time to get back to the podcast – but I really liked doing that too so I might be adding some more in the next few months! If you don’t have me on Facebook, you probably didn’t watch my live where I revealed July’s challenge. Don’t worry, I will have a blog post all about it in a few weeks. I actually didn’t plan to spill the beans just yet but I want it to be interactive like this month’s challenge.

Anyways, I’m so excited to continue my journey for this month and see where it takes me. I grew up playing soccer and only stopped a year or two ago, and even though I never felt like I was “fit” I really loved being active. June’s challenge has been inspired by that, just because I have missed the game and being so active as I was before. I’m hoping sometime next year I find a team and can start playing again, but I think doing things like this will help me feel a little more prepared for that and less intimidated to find a team!

If you ever have any ideas of new challenges you think you’d like to see, be a part of, or anything else – let me know. I’m always looking for new ideas!
