It’s me.

I’m back.

I’m feelin’ fine.

Of course I’m not 100%, I never really am, but I’m feeling a lot more motivated and ready to keep taking on this challenge. Becoming healthy is REALLY HARD. In every aspect. And that’s what my plan was. To take more control of my life!

Guess what, I’ve lost 3 lbs. Not sure if that’s just my weight fluctuating, but I’ve learned a lot in the past two weeks. Want to know more?

I got this app called Lifesum. I was really motivated by my friend who has been seeing real results my counting her macros. I’m hoping I get to that point, but I’m taking it one step at a time. This app has let me track my calories and how much water I’m drinking, along with my workouts. It has been great because it gives me little tips and tells me if I need more calories or if I’ve gone over. Super simple and I’ve been loving it so far.

One thing I learned – I was drinking a LOT of water. I was feeling sick for awhile but I was also doing double my goal in water. I looked it up and drinking too much water can make you nauseous, and drinking that much water was just not needed. Silly me! But I like to still make sure I’m drinking AT LEAST 8 glasses of 8 oz water. Did that makes sense?

So overall, it has been a great learning experience to see and be conscious about what I’m eating and putting into my body. And guess what? We’ve been saving a little while I’ve been at it. We haven’t eaten out and we even have a gift card somewhere! We always find something to eat at home, and we went grocery shopping over the weekend and spent very little on quite a lot.

I’m really happy with it – I’ve started doing yoga (tried to do every day… didn’t work out but that’s alright) and loved it. I am finding different and more ways to work out at home and it has been so much more fun! I dread going up the hill to the gym, so I’m glad I’m finding more at home work outs. I just bought a workout hula hoop the other day, super excited to start using it. 🙂

Okay that’s all, hope you are all having a wonderful day and you’re staying positive. Keep your head up. It gets better. Like I said, there are always ups and downs – that happens for everyone. I might have a rough day tomorrow but I’m having a good one today so I’m just going to focus on that!
